[Ever since Czeslaw returned as a child, Maiza has been checking on his flatmate every morning. It was to make sure the boy didn't disappear again, but as not to scare him he's been saying it was to make sure he woke up in time for breakfast. It actually wasn't a bad experience, gently nudging the kid awake in the morning and watching him roll around sleepily (he's never seen Czes like this), but he wondered, every time he knocked on the door, if Czes would be back to his grumpy self soon.

He's thinking the same as he knocks on the door this morning.] Czeslaw? Are you awake?

[By the moment after it happens, he forgets what he was even trying to get Czes' attention for. It might've been to ask him to help move things while he was cleaning, or maybe it was just to get his attention. He doesn't remember if Czes was particularly immersed in anything.

But he can't remember because the moment he reaches out to tap the kid's shoulder and they connect, there's a loud ZAP and a spark flies between them! But totally unromantically it's a literal spark. He wasn't expecting the static (it was more like a mini-lightning) and he snaps his hand back in surprise! And then he stares when he realizes that he made Czes' hair stand on end.

28 May [Action]

[Firo's had a rough start to the week, so a couple days pass before he realizes he should check on Czes and has the time to do so. Something fishy's going on and he wants to make sure Czes is all right.

A visit to the apartment turns up empty. Firo resorts to strolling through the town with his eyes peeled. This method is surprisingly effective when he spots Czeslaw sitting right in the plaza; waving, he dashes over to him.]

Hey!

[For some odd reason, he's less annoyed with Czes now that he sees kid. He chalks it up to relief, not realizing just how much the spirits are messing with him.]
