[After a short trip to the grocery store, Czes comes back to the fifth floor of building seven and sets out the box of spaghetti and can of tomato sauce out on the counter. Despite how Firo made him paranoid about eating the food here, the kid has to eat something.

So as he puts a pot of water on the stove for himself then sits down at a near by table. He stares out the kitchen window for a few minutes, watching the storm outside when boredom strikes him and he pulls out his journal]

You know, it's strange. To think that a lot of us are from 'Earth' and yet they're not the same 'Earth' that each of us are familiar with. For example, someone could be from... I don't know, let's say Tokyo since a bunch of you appear to be from Japan, but it won't be the same Tokyo you know. In some way, it'll be different.

Things never happened the way one person knows it did in their version of Tokyo.

What would that be called again... parallel universes, right?

[He places some of the spaghetti into the pot of boiling water and turns down the stove a little]

So do you think that there might be like... another version of us on our different versions of 'Earth'? It's kind of exciting to think about actually. They'd have different memories, friends and maybe family...

I wonder what would happen if we ran into our other selves on this trip the Malnosso were talking about.

Would the universe just go BOOM? [He throws his hands into the air then chuckles a bit to himself]

Well, it was just a thought. [ ... ] What would you do if you could meet another version of yourself? Would you envy them for having a different life--for being set on a different path?

Would it? I don't see why.

Well for starters, actually learning that there is another version of you is exciting enough! And actually getting to know how different they are would add to that!

That's not exactly on the level of the universe exploding, you realize. Hee hee.

I guess not, but it'd be better if the world didn't explode! That way you could spend more time with your other self.

I don't think you'd meet yourself anyway, unless there was another version of yourself in your own world to meet. They did say they're sending us home, after all.

Well didn't they say we're allowed to go to another person's world?

In that case, what would be the chances that you meet yourself within only a day if the other person hadn't met you in their whole lifetime?

Hmm well I guess the chances of finding yourself isn't that high... especially considering how big the world is.

[They could be anywhere since their whole person would be different]

[ Or they could live in the exact same city and have the exact same friends and simply play a crossover between Beyblade and POGs instead of killing kids for fun! ]

While it's something to keep in mind, it doesn't seem like the sort of thing to hope for.

[But killing Czes--or rather killing kids is the thing to do these days with the people he knows!!]

I guess not... I still can't help but hope a little though.

Do you think you're the type to be able to get along with yourself, then?

Hmm... I think so! I am the only one who understands me after all.

But will you still understand the you who had different experience than what shaped you into who you are today?

[Humming thoughtfully] Even though my other self might have experienced different things, I think I would still understand him just as much as I would if he was exactly like me.

Is that so? Circumstances could very wildly from one world to the next. You might not even recognize yourself if you met you.

But I thought our other selves would look just like us! I don't see why they'd look that different...

What if you were several years older, had dyed your hair, and gotten several tattoos?

That would be... strange. [He can't imagine another version of himself doing that]

But their world might be one in which such a thing is expected.

Even then. They might have moved. Different things might have become popular. There's all sorts of things that could have changed it.

Well gee, that makes things complicated then. [Boo!!]

It wouldn't be quite so fun if it were simple, now would it?

Hmm... I guess not! Though since we only have one day to go and visit another world, I would've hoped that it would've been a little bit easier...
