First Misfortune - [Action]
[Action]
[If you're in the Good Spirits bar today, you may hear an audible 'thunk' coming from under one of the tables. It sounds like someone's head just clonked against the bottom of it, and one just did. A ten year old boy just woke up under the table and sat up only to have his head meet the table in a not so nice manner.
Why he's there? Czes really has no idea. In fact, he has no idea where he is. All he knows is that this can't be the Alveare. This place isn't as classy and the atmosphere... it's just too different. Besides, what would he be doing back at the Alveare? Last thing he remembered doing was running away from Claire. He should've ended up back with Ennis...
The wings and pain running through his back are definitely not helping with his confusion. He even cringes as he tries to scoot back against the wall.
What should he do? He can't tell if any of those people out there are immortals, not from here at least. He needs to get a good look at everyone and talk to them.
So only a minute or so after the 'thunking' sound, he gets out from under the table and for a moment, he just looks around, observing everyone there. He then approaches anyone close by.] U-Um, excuse me?
[A little while after he wakes up at Good Spirits, Czes will be seen outside in the snow, wandering around in this outfit as he had managed to find his way to the clothing store and grab something nice and warm. He doesn't look scared like earlier, he actually has a more thoughtful look on his face.]

You're useless.
no subject
It's not like anybody else was even lookin' for her! And I was barely out the door before I got dragged here.
[ Calm down, Czes is just upset, he's not normally this bad... It's Dallas' fault, Firo's sure, so he tries to channel his anger that way. He draws back from Czes. ]
I'll find her and make him pay, you can bet on that.
no subject
..Actually he shouldn't be all too worried at all. Ennis is strong and an immortal. If some guy just kidnapped her for ransom then she's bound to kick their ass and be fine. Plus Firo is going to look for her and find her, Czes doesn't doubt that.
So he sighs]
Fine.
no subject
So... You need to get settled in.
[ Somehow, he's a little doubtful that Czes is going to be too eager for his help. ]
no subject
[Yep, still a bit agitated with you Firo]
no subject
The people? Who?
no subject
That's where I woke up.
no subject
[ That must be a lot better than waking up by having some jerk fall on you. ]
Kinda surprised you actually talked to 'em.
no subject
[And you know, they weren't immortal so he figured it would be okay]
no subject
[ He smiles a little; he's so proud of you, Czes! ]
no subject
[WHAT ARE FRIENDS.]</small.

So, hey... Do ya want me to go around with you while you look for a place to stay?
[ It's a long shot, but he wants to keep an eye on Czes. ]
no subject
[Well... it'll... definitely take some time. People stalking and what not, but he'll find a place]
Besides, it's getting late and I'm tired. I'll probably just go to that Welcome Center place for the night.
no subject
[A bit of disappointment flickers acros his face. He understands that Czes isn't the most sociable and that he's within his rights to be angry with Firo, but it still would be nice to spend a little time with someone from home. Plus, he wants to make sure Czes is safe.]
Ya want me to walk you there?
no subject
[He sighs a little then points in one direction] It's this way, right?
no subject
[He nods and stops himself short of reaching for Czes' hand. That probably wouldn't be received well. ]
Yeah, let's go.
no subject
[And so he starts walking, hands stuffed back in his pockets to keep them out of the cold air. For a moment, he doesn't say anything, just thinking to himself, but then he starts to wonder something... ]
What have you been doing here this entire time?
no subject
What've I been doin'? Well...
[He shrugs and the smile fades.]
There's not much to do. Gettin' to know people, practicin'...
no subject
What are they like?
no subject
[It's slight, but his shoulders tense when he says it.]
It's like a little a war. We're just lucky we're not over there nearly as long as those guys in the Great War.
The experiments are just weird. People go crazy for a few days, then stuff goes back to normal.
no subject
[Ah... at least it's not like the little experiments he's been through. Sorry Firo, he has to ask all the questions] Are we drugged or something?
no subject
Sure seems like it. Maybe they put somethin' in the food...
no subject
I see... guess I'll have to make my own food.
